Saturday, May 3rd from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Chico Sky Watch will have a booth at the 35th Annual Endangered Species Faire on Saturday, May 3rd. Attendance is 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Group Picnic Area at One-Mile in Bidwell Park (NOT Cedar Grove this year) next to the Baseball Field. (see map – click for larger): This is a great awareness opportunity because the faire gets a few thousand+ attendees. So this is basically a once-a-year opportunity to reach thousands of people and make them aware of our issues. How much time do we have left? We will be handing out our beautiful tri-fold brochure and other information at our booth, and have a rich, information-packed display.
CSW attended ESF34 last year and had a well-received booth packed with information. We
handed out a few hundred or so of our new tri-fold flyers made specifically in time for the event.

There were probably a couple of thousand attendees and we reached many of them to various levels and degrees. Some entered the booth, others took a flyer. Many asked questions and there were some who knew about the issues. If you would like to help with the booth at the faire, show up any time between 9:30 and 5:30, depending on if you want to help set up, take down, give people a food, drink or bathroom break, or just talk to the faire-goers to educate them, make them aware, and spread the word. Thank you for your support. We hope to see you at the faire. Please spread the word.
