April Monthly Meeting and Earth Week Events
Film at the Pageant and Street Rally, Saturdays, April 18 & 25
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.
— Anne Frank
• Our next meeting will be Wednesday, April 8 at 7:30 pm at the
Chico branch of the Butte County Library at 1108 Sherman Ave.
corner of First Ave.
Please attend, bring a friend, and spread the word far and wide.
• Join us at our next meeting, and the special meeting April 15
the following week, to create signs for the Street Rally on April 25. Come prepared with your
most impactful Anti-GeoEngineering slogans. You may bring your own materials, but we will be
providing poster boards, foam core boards, and large colored markers. (please print legibly
with large, bold characters so passing motorists can easily see the messages) We would like to have
more than a handful of people at the rally.
We will also be handing out flyers and posters for the Pageant film screening at the meeting. We
want to pack the theater, so it is imperative that we all pitch in to hand out flyers (and put up
posters). Thanks to those who have already volunteered and placed posters around Chico and Paradise.
(we still need help with Chico state campus and possibly Butte College)
• Earth Day / Earth Week 2015 Events
We will be having two events for Earth Day / Earth Week this year. (the week of April 22)
The first event is the showing of Clifford Carnicom's "Cloud Cover: The Deliberate Destruction of
our Atmosphere", a documentary film about GeoEngineering Aerosol Spraying. This 45-minute film will
be shown at
The Pageant Theatre
on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Admission is $5.00 donation.
The second event is a Street Rally the next Saturday, April 25 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm
at the corner of Main St. and 5th St., on the south east corner of the City Plaza. Please bring your signs
with large, bold print so they are easy to see by passing cars. We will be having sign-making
sessions at the next monthly meeting on April 8 and during a special meeting on April 15.
Thank you to our sponsors: Nina Widlund, Chico Peace & Justice Center,
Lotus Guide, Dr. Pruett, DDS, and 3 anonymous supporters.
