Also: Street Rally Report and More
There's a lot of activism that doesn't deal with empowerment, and you have to empower yourself
in order to be relevant to any type of struggle.
• Our next meeting will be Wednesday, July 8 at 6:30 pm at the
Chico branch of the Butte County Library at 1108 Sherman Ave.
corner of First Ave.
• Street Rally Report. The GAStrail planes cooperated and put on quite a show during the last rally. We succeeded in getting more than a few motorists to look up as trail after trail was laid down. Too bad more people didn't show up, but you all get another chance on July 18th at 10:30 am till noon. (or longer if you are up for it)
Member Cindy R. posted a photo of the event on some other Facebook GeoEngineering pages and got a lot of
positive remarks. We may also plan more rallies when other events are scheduled at the downtown
City Park Plaza.
• CSW Underwrites KZFR Radio Show Ecotopia. Chico Sky Watch is now a KZFR underwriter for at least a month or as long as we can afford it. (see below for text of advertisement) Listen to Ecotopia, an environmental program, Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. You will hear our short, 50-word ad. This will help us get the word out to the community. You can donate to this project by visiting our website and donating via PayPal or Credit Card. (contact us for other payment methods)
Announcement: Chico Sky Watch; a local, not-for-profit group committed to increasing community awareness of
geoengineering aerosol spraying from jet aircraft. The fall-out from these artificial clouds is
contaminating our air, water and soil as well as exacerbating the drought by disrupting the
hydrological cycle. Find more information at www.chicoskywatch.org.
• Shasta Board Of Supervisors Meeting Redux. The Redding group is holding their supervisor's feet to the fire regarding their unanimous decision last July 15 to do their own testing, investigate further, and send the video record of the meeting to other elected officials. Several of us went to Redding for the previous two meetings. It is vital that we support one another in all attempts to stop the devastating spray programs. Chico Skywatchers were invited to attend another meeting of the Shasta County BOS. Click the image to see their call to action for June 30. Last July 15, 400 Anti-GeoEngineering Activists congregated to witness the 3 hours of testimony given by doctors, scientists, pilots and other concerned citizens on the subject of Solar Radiation Management, GeoEngineering, and aerosol spraying from jets. It was with tremendous relief that we watched the Supervisors vote unanimously to further investigate by doing their own testing and to send the video record to other elected officials. We have suffered this intentional pollution of the air we breathe now for many years and finally a local government body ostensibly had the courage to face the problem head on.
Unfortunately, political and financial pressures have probably been brought to bear
on them due to their decision, and they did not do what they said they were going to do. We must all
implore them to hold fast to their original decision and to stand firmly against those who would
further undermine our health and, indeed, the well-being of our entire biosphere.
