• February Film Night

CSW Film Night at our new meeting location presents a short video on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm. The address is 1157 Oakdale Street (north of WEST 12th Street off of Park Ave.).

This month's video is a short version of the Redding community presentation to their Shasta County Board of Supervisors. It is 30 minutes and features a variety of speakers concisely giving evidence of climate engineering.

A discussion will follow the video, including ways to protect ourselves from the environmental assault.

• WANTED: CSU Students to Form Campus Sky Watch Club

Any students within earshot? A club / organization on campus is our top goal for getting the word out because GeoEngineering will be affecting our youth for much longer than it will us oldsters. A professor has agreed to be the club adviser. It takes only three interested students to form a club, which can then have access to campus meeting rooms and facilities, like tabling at the Free Speech Area. Chico Sky Watch will offer whatever guidance and support the club requests. A group could also be started at Butte College.

• CSW Ad in Lotus Guide

Our latest outreach effort is advertising in the Winter 2017 issue of the Lotus Guide, available now at various locations around town, or you can read it online. (our ad is on page 39) It is a great venue for CSW because, 1) Rahasya Poe, the editor, has broken the barrier and published stories on Climate Engineering in the past and will again in the future, and 2) because the Guide is only printed every 3 months, so the ad is current for a long time.

Please help by donating toward the cost of this ad.

Also note the excellent book review by Lauren Ayers of Elana Freeland's book ("Chemtrails, HAARP, and the Full Spectrum Dominance of the Planet Earth") in the same Lotus Guide edition. Rahasya and the Lotus Guide have been very supportive of Chico Sky Watch (and vice versa) and that is very much appreciated.

• Update on KZFR Underwriting Cancellation

After being a proud underwriter of our local community radio station for 10 months, we were suddenly dropped. Their reason was that we were trafficking in opinion and not fact, with which we disagree and sent them a letter refuting those claims and asking them for evidence of our supposed transgressions.

Next, we were accused of being too political, when in fact we are simply bringing attention to a public health issue. We plan to take our objections to their decision to the (next?) board meeting. You can help correct the station manager's misunderstanding by contacting him ( Rick Anderson: 895–0706, email: kzfr.org, username: 'info' (w/o quotes) ), or attending the meeting with us (even if you don't feel like speaking during Public Comment, just showing your face would help).

You have probably already discovered, when talking Climate Engineering with friends, that it's best to avoid the various theories about why they are spraying and zapping. Simply reporting the facts is persuasive enough, such as our lab tests of local water, the many patents issued by the U.S. Patent Office, excerpts from government planning sessions (if they have been declassified so that we know about them) and whistleblower testimony. We will let people know the meeting date and time.

• A GeoEngineering Forum at the Guild (Grange)

A GeoEngineering forum at the Guild (Grange) is in the planning stages. People trust the Guild and they also prefer to hear all sides of a controversial topic, so we are looking for speakers both pro and con on this issue. This is an ongoing project.

• CSUC Sustainability Conference in March

We hope to have a table at this year's annual CSUC Sustainability Conference in the spring, Thursday & Friday, March 23-24. The theme of "This Way to Sustainability Conference XII" is "Re-Envisioning the Future: Our Path Forward".

The cost is $35 for a single day or $50 for both days. This is another good outreach opportunity, especially to talk to young people and make them aware of the problem, and inform and educate them about the issues and facts. If you would like to volunteer to man the table, we can always use the help.

• 38th Annual Endangered Species Faire in May

CSW will have a booth at this year's 38th Annual Endangered Species Faire sponsored by the Butte Environmental Council (BEC), to be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 from 11 am - 4 pm at One Mile Picnic Area in Lower Bidwell Park.

This will be our fourth year of attendance. We chat about Climate Engineering with curious faire goers to educate and inform and make them aware of GeoEngineering. We need volunteers at our table for an hour! (or however long you can be there) It's fun and our new banners will attract attention to our table so we may need some extra help!
