September Film Night: "FrankenSkies" – CSW Short Cut

CSW Film Night at a member's home presents a short video on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 7:00 pm. From the planes to the rains to the brains... That's one sinister trail!

The address is 1157 Oakdale Street (north of WEST 12th Street off of Park Ave. — just west of Park Avenue, two doors north of 12 Street, on the east side of the street, a poster will adorn the front door).

This month we have a re-play of the abridged, CSW short cut version of "FrankenSkies". However, we find that people often like to discuss various aspects of information brought up in this new and comprehensive video. We are confident you will enjoy it, too. Bring friends!

"FrankenSkies" can be viewed in its entirety (1 hour and 20 minutes) online for free at YouTube.

Petition Action

CSW designed a petition asking our elected officials to disclose information about the ongoing GeoEngineering activity and to demand they take action to terminate these programs. We began collecting signatures in November 2015 and mailing them every time we got another 100 signatures. So far we have sent off 600. They go to Chico City Council, Butte County Board of Supervisors, Assemblyman Gallagher, State Senator Nielsen, Governor Brown, Congressman LaMalfa, Senators Kamala Harrison and Dianne Feinstein, the current President of the United States, and the United Nations.

In our cover letter we ask the recipients to respond, telling us what they plan to do. At this point we have received two responses. The U.N. sent us a letter of thanks acknowledging receipt of the petitions and giving us an address that better pinpoints the correct department.

The other response was from Supervisor Larry Wahl. We had several email exchanges; he was curious to know more information about our concerns. We offered to meet with him to discuss our water test findings and eventually on August 30, 2017 Betty and Marla visited him in his office. He was friendly and cordial, listened politely to our mini-presentation and volunteered some disinformation regarding condensation vs. chemical trails. (Contrails vs. GAStrails)

He chose not to sign our petition. After our detailed description of the effects aluminum is having on the biosphere, Betty asked him directly whether he was concerned about all the aluminum in the air and water. He said, "No."

He gave us some advice about furthering our cause, suggesting we take our presentation to the Public Health and Environmental Health offices in Oroville. That would be a fairly easy thing to do. He also explained how to get on the supervisors' agenda. Watch this space if you are interested in helping with either of these projects.

So even though we didn't persuade him to join our cause, it was a successful meeting and he now has lots of info to investigate.

Getting the Word Out

Chico Sky Watch had our booth at the Heirloom Exposition in Santa Rosa in early September. Uber-volunteer Lauren met some wonderful people there who share our concerns. Many took our handout with the graph of our water tests, signed our petition, and shared their observations of aerosol spraying where they live, including Janice, who is keen to start a Sonoma County Sky Watch group.

Lauren also went to an environmental conference called Soil Not Oil, in Richmond, and gave nearly everyone there our handout along with one that addresses three approaches to reducing CO2 levels in the atmosphere far more efficiently than the climate engineers claim Solar Radiation Management will.

Chico Sky Watch strives to awaken environmentalists everywhere to the Conspiracy Fact that aluminum levels are much higher than background levels found in the past, and that nanoparticle aluminum is much more reactive than the kind of aluminum absorbed from cooking in aluminum pans or from using antiperspirants.

For instance, when the CNR had their cover story last December about the 100 million trees that have died in the western US over the past 20 years, Marla sent a letter to the editor about the toxicity of stronger UVB rays and nanoparticle aluminum—both from climate engineering—including citations. But the letter was not published.

In their 40th anniversary issue, the CNR repeats the truism: "Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed— everything else is public relations." The editor says, "We're interested in the facts." Maybe not.

If you are a Sierra Club member or support local environmental groups, why not ask them to look at our water test results, the patents, and listen to the whistleblowers? Share our website and Facebook pages with your enviro friends.

One last bit of progress: Chico Guild members are working to get a resolution passed at the annual Guild convention next month, October 12-15. It's simply a request that every California county test the water of 4 lakes/ponds 3 times in a year to see if the level of aluminum exceeds the Cal EPA Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 1,000 ppb (i.e. 1 ppm).

Why do we need this? Tests done by Chico Sky Watch (and so many other groups elsewhere), while done by state certified labs, are not credible to state officials because the 'chain of evidence' needs to be in state officials' hands from 'lake to lab.' Even before the convention, two other Guild halls have shown their support of this resolution.

Guild approval is significant because, as a fraternal organization, the Guild has a lobbyist in Sacramento who works on issues important to farming and sustainability. Other resolutions from the Guild have ended up as state law, for instance the recent proposal by the Chico Guild that the State of California finds ways to fully integrate all the bike paths already existing and assist in creating any that will make the network more pedal-friendly for commuting to work and for recreation. Also, the Guild joined the push to get glyphosate (RoundUp) on the CA carcinogenic list.

Chico Sky Watch is finding many ways to bring aerosol spraying to the attention of those who can do something about it. Thank you for your support in awakening both the grassroots and the grasstops.

Come by our table some Saturday morning at the Farmers Market! Our banner and table are visible on East 2nd Street just past Wall Street (under the "Parking" sign). We're there from 10 to noon inviting people to sign our petition and take our handout (which includes our water test results). It seems like more people are stopping lately!
