CSW Film Night presents a 20-minute video, "Stranger Than Fiction Compendium", displayed on a big screen, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Chico branch of the Butte County Library at 1108 Sherman Ave. corner of First Ave.

This compendium of various GeoEngineering issue video clips is an informative representation of what is happening in the world of Climate Change Aerosol Spraying. Discussion will occur afterward.

• Downtown Chico Park Plaza Palooza

Chico Sky Watch will be attending and have a table at the KZFR 5th Annual Plaza Palooza in the downtown park during Thursday Night Market at 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 26, 2018. We will have some of our very popular tomato starts donated by Betty Credit.

There will be a wide variety of community groups and organizations sharing information about their programs and services as well as many KZFR Underwriters (like CSW). Plus entertainment: Community Dance hosted by the Chico World Dancers, KZFR goodies and give-aways and more. Entertainment will be non-stop, including DJ Ph G who will be on-hand spinning the tunes to keep you smiling and moving.

• 39th Annual Endangered Species Faire, Sat May 5

CSW will have a booth at this year's 39th Annual Endangered Species Faire sponsored by the Butte Environmental Council (BEC), to be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at the old Cedar Grove location near Chico Creek Nature Center on 'far' East 8th Street.

This will be our fifth year of attendance to this FREE-to-the-Public event that hosts many other Social Justice groups. We chat about Climate Engineering with curious faire goers to educate and inform and make them aware of GeoEngineering. We will have our usual petitions, hand-outs, kids' activities, and very popular tomato starts donated by Betty Credit.

We need volunteers at our table/booth for an hour! (or however long you can be there) Although this is obviously a serious subject and event, it is also fun and interesting and we have a good time, as well.

This has been a recurring successful and productive event for CSW that we look forward to every year. We hope to see you there. Please spread the word!

• Report: CSW at the Chico March for Science 2018

A couple of CSW volunteers attended the Chico March for Science on Saturday, April 14 in downtown Chico. They carried our new banner (thanks, Lauren), handed out flyers and information, and educated, informed, and made many people aware of our concerns.
